    장우석 변호사는 한국의 대표 기업인 삼성 및 현대그룹의 계열사에서 IT분야 엔지니어로서, 컨설턴트로서 대한민국 유수의 고객사들을 위해 컨설팅을 하다가 1999년 미국으로 유학와서 프랭클린 피어스 로 센터 (현재는 뉴햄프셔 주립대 소속) 에서 Juris Doctor를 2004년에 취득하고, 이후 한국에 돌아와 강남의 한 특허사무소에서 미국 고객사들을 상대로 한국 특허업무 안내를 했으며, 이후 다시 미국으로 돌와와서 2006년 매사추세츠주 및 뉴욕주 변호사 자격을 취득하며, 법률업무를 시작하게됩니다. 

    2007년에 서울 서초동에 있는 법무법인에서 국제법무부를 맡아 사업부를 론칭하였으며, 개인들의 비자관련 문제를 해결하고, 기업들의 미국 진출과 관련하여 자문을 하였습니다. 이때 KBS라디오 아침프로그램에 미국변호사로서 인터뷰도 하여, 소속 법무법인은 물론, 전반적인 궁금증과 관련하여 대국민 공익적 홍보도 하였습니다.

    이후 2008년부터 미국에 개인 변호사 오피스를 개설하여 현지에서 교민들 및 거주인들에게 다가가는 법률 서비스를 제공해오고 있습니다. 장우석 변호사를 찾는 클라이언트는 매사추세츠 주에만 한정되어 있지 않습니다. 뉴잉글랜드 주 - 뉴햄프셔, 메인, 버몬트, 로드 아일랜드, 그리고 코네티컷 - 뿐만 아니라, 뉴욕 주 등 미국내, 그리고 멀리는 대한민국까지 넓게 퍼져있습니다. 물론 연방 이민법이나 세법, 사회보장등은 장우석 변호사가 직접 해결이 가능하고, 주법의 경우 해당 주에 어드미션이 있는 변호사들과 직접 연결하여 진행하기에 무엇보다도 클라이언트들께서 일을 다시 시작해야 하는 부담이 없기 때문입니다.
